How to order through iTaoBuy, with extra checks for food
The path from a store link to a paid parcel, the routes that took food on 16 October, and every layer of the bill.
A practical seven-stage order guide
These are editorial stages based on iTaoBuy’s public workflow, not a numbered official tutorial. Clothing and food use the same buying process; food adds label, shelf-life and import checks. The public Fill & Buy form below was viewed on 18 October 2026. Use the live account to confirm its current labels and payment breakdown.
Open your account
Use the iTaoBuy registration page and read its agreements. This link includes an invite code; confirm any offer conditions in your own account.
Copy the original seller link
Open a catalogue card, then copy its Taobao, Weidian or 1688 listing URL into iTaoBuy. The catalogue card helps discovery; confirm the current item and price on the order page.
Specify exactly what to buy
Choose size, colour, flavour, pack size and quantity. If the listing does not import, the official Fill & Buy form asks for the original link, name, specification, product image, CNY price and domestic shipping. A remark can ask the buyer to confirm a date or variant before purchase.

Review the goods and domestic shipping charges, any service fee and the conversion rate before confirming. This payment is separate from international freight. A captured estimator Service Fee of zero does not cancel the technical fee wording in the terms.
Review the stored goods
Match QC photos against your order. Ask for the measurement or label panel you need before you approve shipping. Food is excluded from no-reason returns; report wrong, damaged or expired goods with evidence instead of treating a red-light comment as a submitted claim.
Prepare and pay for the parcel
Select the stored items, packaging and destination, then compare routes for every contents category. Confirm the applicable declarations, costs and cover conditions. Food needs its own label, expiry and destination checks even when it travels beside clothes.
Track and keep evidence
Keep the order, warehouse photos, parcel record and any support answer together. Follow the carrier and customs requests. If something arrives wrong or damaged, preserve packaging and contact support with the parcel and item identifiers; the remedy depends on the incident and applicable terms.
From a store link to a submitted parcel
Register on iTaoBuy (our sign-up link carries an invite code), then paste the address of a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 listing into its search box. The listing opens as an iTaoBuy order page where you pick the flavour, size or pack count.
Before paying, look at the listing photos the way the notice would: a printed brand on the pack, a date panel if the seller shows one, and sealed retail packaging. Then pay for the goods and for the seller’s delivery to the warehouse.
iTaoBuy’s Shopping Information page sets out the timing it aims for: orders placed between 09:00 and 18:00 Beijing time get a response within 6 hours; sellers usually ship in 3 to 7 days, with a first reminder on day 4; if an item is out of stock and you do not answer within 72 hours the order is cancelled; seller refunds reach you 4 to 10 days after the agent receives them.
Once the order is stored and photographed, submit a parcel, choose a route the estimator lets through for Food, and pay the freight. Declare each item specifically, as the notice asks.
Example: adding snacks to an existing clothing order
First identify the snack and ask about the actual ingredients, packaging and route to your destination. Then record the purchase option and cost. The first payment covers the buying stage and relevant domestic charges; international freight is chosen after warehouse receipt. Keep the clothing return and storage deadlines in view while waiting for the food order.
At the warehouse, request readable date and ingredient labels if they are essential to the decision. Compare the mixed parcel with sending the clothes separately; one liquid or restricted ingredient can change the options for everything packed together. Estimate shelf-life margin using the real dates and a cautious journey allowance, without treating either the local tool or a carrier estimate as an admission or delivery guarantee.

Before choosing a route
Confirm every contents category, actual weight and dimensions, current booking conditions, declaration duties and the cover terms. The date tool’s arrival buffer is an editorial planning choice.
With food in the parcel, the shipping question is narrower than usual: which of the routes that accept your food types gets there with enough shelf life left, and what does it give up. Price is the last question, not the first.
Dedicated routes such as U.S. Line - F, UK Small Parcel Service - F or DHL Europe Direct Service - MG offer Worry-Free cover and handle commercial clearance. Postal routes such as HZ-EUB or HZ-SAL are often cheaper and slower; their descriptions say you handle customs clearance and duties yourself and that compensation, delivery confirmation and tracking queries are not offered.
The operation fee is a fixed charge per parcel, built into the list price: 8 CNY on the US, Canadian, UK, Australian and postal routes we read, 15 CNY on the EU DHL routes.
The bill for a snack parcel, layer on layer
A food parcel’s cost breakdown has the same layers as any iTaoBuy parcel. First the price of the goods and whatever the seller charges to reach Guangdong, both paid with the order. Then, when you submit the parcel, the route’s list price, which already includes the fixed operation fee.
Worry-Free Shipping is optional per parcel and costs (shipping fee + total value of goods) × 3%. It is not offered on the postal routes HZ-EUB, HZ-SAL, HZ-ETY and HZ-Postal Parcel AIR. Its payouts follow iTaoBuy’s compensation standard, whose April 2026 customs wording differs between the compensation standard and the separate Worry-Free page. Ask support which terms apply to your route and incident; a purchased option is not proof that seizure is covered.
Clause 8.3 in the Terms of Use, as revised on 31 August 2026, mentions a 10% technical service fee on top-ups, order payments and international shipping payments; check the fee breakdown on the payment screen before you confirm.
The estimator sometimes crosses out a price and labels it “Limited -40%”. In the responses we read, that coupon’s expiry field said 30 June 2026, so every price on this site is the list price.
Yuan per dollar, euro and pound on iTaoBuy
The exchange rate is the quiet layer of the bill. iTaoBuy sets prices in CNY and shows them in one of 21 display currencies at its own conversion rate. On 16 October its public currency list valued the dollar at 5.6836 CNY, the euro at 6.3692 and the pound at 7.505, against mid-market rates of roughly 6.703, 7.5175 and 8.8893 on the same day.
In plain terms, each dollar, euro or pound buys roughly 18% fewer yuan on iTaoBuy than at the mid-market rate. You can see it on the estimator: the UK Small Parcel Service - F list price of 144.0 CNY was displayed as 25.34 USD, exactly 144.0 divided by 5.6836.
That gap applies to the snacks, the domestic shipping and the international route alike. When comparing a food parcel with buying the same snacks from a local Asian grocer, convert the CNY total yourself at a rate you trust.
Ask support about your exact parcel
The food notice ends with an offer worth taking: for questions about shipping food, “or need to confirm whether a specific product is allowed, please contact online customer service. We will reply within 1 business day.”
Ask with specifics. Send the product link, the route you plan to use, the destination and the weight, and ask whether that route accepts that item. Keep the dated answer with the route and product details. It clarifies the agent’s handling position; it does not override destination law or guarantee border admission.
